Torrevieja is a fantastic city with plenty of great attractions for all types of travelers. With a rich architectural heritage, you can spend your days wandering about the many impressive structures like the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (La Ermita) or the Archpriest of the Immaculate Conception, another historically beautiful church.

Other places to explore would be a former watchtower called Mirador de la Torre del Moro that boasts both spectacular viewpoints and architectural design or the Museum of the Sea and Salt.

For those who enjoy being outside in the great outdoors and soaking up natural settings, heading to Lagunas de la Mata Nature Park, Parque de las Naciones or Parque Dona Sinforosa would all be perfect options for day activities in Torrevieja.

Though the sites and attractions are nothing short of incredible and important to spend some time at, no trip to Torrevieja would ever be complete without discovering the many breathtaking beaches in the area. Though the most popular one with tourists is the large Playa de la Mata with glorious white sand and beautiful surroundings of Lagunas de la Mata Nature Park, there are still many more worth checking out.
